La borró de la fotografía de su vida no porque no la hubiese amado, sino, precisamente, porque la quiso. La borró junto con el amor que sintió por ella. La gente grita que quiere crear un futuro mejor, pero eso no es verdad, el futuro es un vacío indiferente que no le interesa a nadie, mientras que el pasado está lleno de vida y su rostro nos excita, nos irrita, nos ofende y por eso queremos destruirlo o retocarlo. Los hombres quieren ser dueños del futuro sólo para poder cambiar el pasado. Luchan por entrar al laboratorio en el que se retocan las fotografías y se rescriben las biografías y la historia.
